By accessing or using MitaRentals services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Our Services

MitaRentals provides a platform for booking luxury villa and property rentals. We connect guests with premium accommodations and facilitate secure transactions between guests and property owners.

What We Provide

  • • Property search and booking platform
  • • Secure payment processing
  • • Customer support services
  • • Quality assurance and verification

What We Don't Provide

  • • Property ownership or management
  • • Insurance for personal belongings
  • • Guarantee of property availability
  • • Legal advice or representation

Booking & Payment Terms

Reservation Process

  • • Bookings are confirmed only after full payment is processed
  • • All rates are quoted in USD and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
  • • Prices may change until booking is confirmed and payment is complete
  • • Special requests are subject to property owner approval and additional fees

Payment Terms

Accepted Payment Methods

  • • Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex)
  • • Bank transfers for bookings over $10,000
  • • PayPal for select properties

Payment Schedule

  • • 50% deposit due at booking confirmation
  • • Remaining balance due 30 days before arrival
  • • Security deposit charged separately

Note: Refunds for cancellations due to extraordinary circumstances (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.) will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to different terms.

Guest Responsibilities

Required Behavior

  • • Treat property with care and respect
  • • Follow maximum occupancy limits
  • • Comply with local laws and regulations
  • • Respect noise restrictions and neighbor privacy
  • • Report any damages or issues immediately
  • • Complete check-out procedures on time

Prohibited Activities

  • • Smoking inside non-smoking properties
  • • Hosting parties without prior approval
  • • Bringing pets without permission
  • • Using properties for commercial purposes
  • • Subletting or transferring reservations
  • • Damaging or removing property items

Liability & Insurance

Our Liability

MitaRentals acts as an intermediary platform. Our liability is limited to:

  • • Platform functionality and booking processing
  • • Secure handling of payment information
  • • Customer service and dispute mediation
  • • Maximum liability: Total amount paid for the booking

Guest Responsibility

Guests are responsible for:

  • • Personal belongings and travel insurance
  • • Any damages caused to the property
  • • Additional fees for rule violations
  • • Medical expenses and emergency costs

Dispute Resolution

Direct Resolution

Contact our customer service team within 24 hours of any issues

Mediation

Formal mediation process if direct resolution is unsuccessful

Arbitration

Binding arbitration as final resort under laws of Mexico

Continued use of our services after notification constitutes acceptance of updated terms. Users who disagree with changes may terminate their account within 30 days for a full refund of unused services.
